| Later, he joined the BJP and was
again re-elected to the Assembly in '96 on the BJP ticket.
Mr. Arya has been active in politics
since his student days. He is well qualified, being a science and law graduate,
and also has the MA and BRD degrees to his name.
From '76 to '79 he was the Divisional
Secretary of the NSUI. He was also the District Secretary of the
Congress in '75-'76.
He has been the President of the
Chattra Sangharsh Samiti and the Uttarakhand Scheduled Castes and Tribes
Snatak Sangh. |
