Gun Hill

Enjoy a ropeway ride to the second highest peak of Mussoorie. It can also be negotiated by  bridle path which forks off  from the Mall road near kutchery and it takes about 20 minutes to get there. The ropeway distance is only 400 mts. and the sheer thrill of the ride is memorable.  Gun Hill offers a beautiful panoramic view of the  Himalayan  ranges namely  Bunderpunch, Shrikanta, Pithwara and the Gangotri groups etc. 
 

Kempty Fall

15 Kms.  from  Mussoorie on the Yamunotri road, having an altitude of 4500 ft., it has the distin- ction of being the biggest and prettiest waterfall in the area and is  located in a beautiful  valley surrounded by high mountains.

Municipal Garden

A picnic spot having a beautiful garden and an artificial mini lake with boating facilities. It  is located at a distance of  2 Kms. on foot via Waverly Convent road. 

Childer's Lodge

Highest  peak of  Mussoorie near Lal Tibba. It is about 5 Kms. from the tourist office. Snow  view from this spot is exhilarating. 

Camel Back Road

Main  charm  of  this  road  is  Horseriding and walking. Sunset view of the Himalayas is superb. 

Jharipani Fall

8.5 Kms. from Mussoorie. Visitors can go by Bus or Car.

Bhatta Fall

7  Kms.  from  Mussoorie  on the Mussoorie - Dehra  Dun  road. An  ideal spot for bathing and  picnics. 

Mossey Fall

7 Kms. from Mussoorie. A beautiful fall surrounded by dense forest.

Nag Devta Temple

An ancient temple situated on Cart Mackenzie road and is about six Kms. from Mussoorie. It provides a charming view of Doon Valley. 

Mussoorie Lake (Jheel)

6 Kms. from Mussoorie on the Mussoorie-Dehra Dun road. It  is a  delightful spot. Pedal boats are available. It commands an enchanting view of the Doon Valley. 

Sir George Everest House

6 Kms. The park estate of the legendary Sir George Everest, first Surveyor General of India, who had his office and residence here. The highest peak in the  world, Mount Everest,  is named after him. 

Cloud End

The  Bungalow  built  in 1838 by a  British  Major  was  one  of  the  first  four buildings  of  Mussoorie.The  Bungalow has  since then been converted into a hotel  called Cloud End and is situated at the extreme west of Mussoorie, 8 kms.  from the Library. The  resort  is  surrounded  by  thick  forest,  offers a vide variety of flora & fauna,  besides a panoramic view of snow clad Himalayas. 
 

Dhanolti

Located on the Mussoorie-Tehri road at a distance of 25 kms. from Mussoorie.  It offers   a  captivating  view of  the  Himalayas from amidst Pine and Deodar forests. Dhanolti is the ideal place for a quite weekend.
