As the Ganga waters, here, are ideal for river rafting, the GMVN has provided essential rafting facilities at Kaudiyala  (389 meters). Located on the Rishikesh-Badrinath road 36 kms. away, Kaudiyala is surrounded by dense forests.

     After a gruelling stretch, a walk along the river is a real treat, as you can even see the occasional wildlife enjoying its natural habitat. For river rafting enthusiasts, Kaudiyala has the Rafters Camp. GMVN conducts river rafting courses here. It provides rafts, equipment and river side camping items. Rock climbing can also be organized here.

RAIL : Rishikesh Railway Station is the nearest railway station. Kaudiyala is 37 kms. from Rishikesh.

ROAD : Buses and private taxis are available from Rishikesh to Kaudiyala-37 kms., 80 kms., fromDehradun, 61 from Haridwar and 260 kms., from Delhi.

ACCOMMODATION

GMVN’s Tent Colony/Huts Tel : 0135-489111 are available with dining hall/ restaurant. At any one time, 40 persons can be accommodated.
