| A giant natural cradle, surrounded
by beautiful Pine and dense Deodar forests, Har Ki Dun is indeed a revelation
in all respects. This painting like valley is located in the remote western
hills of Uttarkashi district. |
 |
This green drop of natural brilliance
is beautifully complemented by colossal peaks, the Jaundhar glacier, flushing
meadows, bouquets of floral splendour and plenty of fauna.
You can trek up to this natural delight
from Taluka, which is easily accessible from Dehradun by private vehicles.
Here you can see the confluence of the lively Rupin and Supin rivers with
the river Tons. This is not all. The entire trek offers a breathtaking
view of the Supin Valley, beautifully tiled terraced farms and miles of
flower beds.
